When our founder, Omogbonjubola, moved from Nigeria to the United Kingdom, she brought with her not just memories, but meaningful pieces of her heritage including a handcrafted bag made from aso-oke, the richly woven fabric of the Yoruba people.

Aso-oke is more than a textile. It’s a story a symbol of tradition, identity, and generations of craftsmanship. Worn at life’s most significant celebrations, this hand-woven fabric connects the past with the present, speaking of community, pride, and artistry.

Arriving in London, a city where history and innovation live side by side, Omogbonjubola found inspiration. Just like London treasures its rich past while embracing the future, she dreamed of a brand that would honor her Yoruba roots while offering a fresh, modern twist. Born in Ile-Ife the cradle of the Yoruba civilization her vision was clear: to create timeless pieces that celebrate heritage while fitting beautifully into today’s world.
